~Signs of Spring~
As signs of spring began to stir in the Konpeito forest,
Bear set off for a stroll in the forest clearing.
He sat down on a round tree stump bench,
thinking, "Maybe I'll read a book..."
when he was overcome with a fluffy wave of sleepiness and dozed off.
When he awoke, he was in a place overflowing with cherry blossom pink.
Each time a gentle breeze blew,
a shower of petals danced softly.
~Sakura Pink Dreamland~
Trees as fluffy as cotton candy,
Rocks as soft as marshmallows.
Bear seemed to have wandered into another world of sweet treats.
As he ambled along the cherry blossom pink path,
his stomach rumbled loudly.
Just then,
he noticed a small, round door
at the pink base of a cherry blossom tree.
"Come this way!"
A gentle voice called from beyond the door.
~Sakura Parfait Bear's Home~
Hesitantly, he stepped inside,
and there sat a Sakura Parfait Bear,
with a tiny scoop of ice cream and a cherry blossom perched on its head.
"Would you like some tea with me?"
The inside of Sakura Parfait Bear's house
was subtly scented with cherry blossoms.
The two of them,
sharing cherry blossom ice cream,
enjoyed a long chat.
~Lingering Spring in Hand~
"I hope we meet again!"
Sakura Parfait Bear said, handing him
a small, pink cherry blossom heart.
"Thank you. See you later."
The moment Bear said that...
He realized he was back on the tree stump bench.
Had he fallen asleep...? Oh, dear.
Yet, in his palm,
the small pink heart he had received
remained gently.
