A Story of Starry Night Colors

Part One: Night Spreads Through the Forest

Night quietly descended
upon the Konpeito Forest.

The sky peeking through the trees
was exceptionally clear,
and the stars twinkled as if spilling forth.

The bears sat in a row on the grass,
looking up at the night sky

and whispered softly to each other,
"It's as if little stars
have spilled into the forest too."

Part Two: A Fragment

That night,
one of the bears found
a small light at their feet.

It was a mysterious fragment,
soft like a star,
emitting a clear light.

"Could it be that
a real star has fallen?"

As their companions tilted their heads,
the fragment, as if answering,
gently shimmered with color.

Part Three: The Birth of a Gentle Color

Deep blue and
soft yellow.

As the two lights were gently placed in a hand,
the fragments slowly melted together,
transforming into a single color.

It was a color
that didn't yet have a name.

Quietly spreading across paper, across fabric,
blending, becoming lines, becoming dots.

Like gentle lights
one by one
lighting up in the depths of the night sky.

The bears gazed at the color
but did not immediately give it a name.

They simply
felt the tranquility
of looking up at the starry sky,
and the quiet calm remaining deep in their hearts,
within that color.

Thus, the color gradually learned its form
and, over time, blended into the forest.

It was the gentle color of night
born for the first time
in the Konpeito Forest.

This is the story of the starry night sky's color,
before it had a name.
