Cupcake Bear's Story

The trees in the Konpeito Forest
grew thick with leaves,
and the light illuminating the forest grew stronger.
Bear suddenly remembered
the Spring Festival from last month.

That strawberry mousse I made at the Spring Festival,
everyone loved it,
it was really delicious...

In his hand was a milk-colored heart fragment
he received from Roll Cake Bear.

Bear again
wanted to visit the world
where he met that gentle and fluffy
Roll Cake Bear.

Then, he stopped writing in his diary,
and as he was about to turn off the light by his hand...

It was a world of sweets,
covered in colorful icing
and gently sparkling
decorations.

Although it was a little different from where
he met Roll Cake Bear,
this place also had a sweet and nostalgic scent.

Colorful and fluffy clouds,
like cotton candy, floated above,
and below them, adorable houses,
shaped like squeezed cream,
lined up.

The door of the house with the purple roof opened, and from inside,

"Over here~"

a lively voice could be heard.

When he went inside...

"Yoo-hoo! How have you been?"

There was a slightly mischievous
Cupcake Bear.
"Have we met somewhere before...?"
Bear wondered, but took a seat on the round chair offered to him.

On the table were
colorful cupcakes and
steaming peach tea.

Bear told Cupcake Bear many stories
about recent events.
About the strawberry mousse he made at the Spring Festival.
About the pancakes he diligently baked yesterday...

"See, you did it properly."
Cupcake Bear smiled and
offered a heart fragment.
It was a small heart
that seemed to trap light in a pale purple hue.

Bear was
in front of his favorite table.
In his right hand was a pen, and in his left hand was the small heart from earlier.

"Indeed, maybe I did it properly."

He murmured softly,
and wrote an important little note on the edge of his notebook.
"I did it properly."

The letters
seemed to sparkle a little.
